Contact an ASUA Club Advocate at 621-6694. Be prepared
to explain the type of event and the date it will occur. The Club Advocate
will answer any questions you might have and help you through the rest
of the funding process.
STEP 2
Timeline: 3 weeks before event
Fill out a Funding Request Form. An ASUA Club Advocate
will help you fill out the form. The following items must be turned in
with the Funding Request Form:
1)
An itemized budget for the specific
event
2) A complete annual budget for your organization
3) All funding from other sources (fundraising,
university departments, etc.)
4) A brief one paragraph description of the event

The Funding Request Form and accompanying items must
be turned in to an ASUA Club Advocate AT LEAST 10 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE
DEPARTURE FOR THE EVENT. The funding request must be heard by the
Appropriation Board AT LEAST 8 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE.
The Funding Request Form and accompanying items must
be turned in AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT OCCURS.
STEP 3
Timeline: 2 weeks before event
Attend the Appropriations Board meeting on a Monday at
4:00 p.m. A Club Advocate will notify your club of the meeting date. It
is YOUR responsibility to be sure a club representative is present.
STEP 4
Timeline: 2 weeks before event (Immediately after the
Appropriations Board meeting which is 10 business days before the funds
are needed.)
Work with an ASUA Club Advocate to fill out the paperwork
needed to procure funds. Your club will find out the amount of funds appropriated
at the Appropriations Board meeting.
REMEMBER! The earlier you start the funding
process the better.All funding requests are considered on a case by case
