About Us

Mission:

Cats RIDDE is dedicated to protecting the lives of University of Arizona students and community members by providing a safe, free, and reliable ride home for any student, for any reason.

Vision:

Cats RIDDE aspires to run the most effective and efficient university based designated driving program in the state of Arizona. We plan to set an example for other universities within the state and throughout the nation through our committment to excellence.

Program Operations:

- Saturday nights
-Calls accepted from 10pm to 2am, and rides will continue until all are completed
- Student call-ins, car dispatches, student pick-ups
- Cars driven by two students (one male, one female)
- Run entirely by students

Area and Terms of Service:

- Currently limited to immediate area surrounding campus (Stone to Tucson, and Broadway to Grant).
- Efforts are being made expand our coverage area in the future.
- Student patrons and two guests
- Most efficient use of cars
- Patrons are only taken home
- Will not take patrons to another bar or party
- Goal is an increase in overall community safety
